Fairy Princess and a quick update

DSCN1278

This is a pic I took of Nile on Dec. 5, 2010 (8 mos. old). I didn't realize until afterward that she was posed directly under the gold crown detail on the settee. Fitting! :)

She is our little Fairy Princess and is a complete dream baby. She is so fun and easy, and we take her everywhere. These pics were taken at Pani, the most adorable cafe in Buenos Aires.

I may or may not have mentioned Pani before; there's so much I have to catch you up on!

(I should have brought a nice camera and come back when the light was better for a full-on photo shoot! Perfect venue!!)

We left Buenos Aires (very sad) the evening of Tues., Dec. 14 and flew direct to Dulles Airport. We  stayed in VA and spent Christmas with my family, it was great.

****** p.s. I am done with my job in Argentina, and am on a a break for more than a month!  ******

After Christmas in VA, we flew to Arizona to spend a few weeks with Neil's family. It has been awesome! We saw a lot of friends and family, and spent three days with the whole family at DISNEYLAND! Nile and my first trip there!!! We got our pic with Mickey, too!

We are now in Utah, having a wonderful visit with my grandma. Then we will fly back to AZ, and then later head back to VA so I can do some training.

I look forward to that time, because VA is home, so we will see my parents and siblings on the weekends, and visit Neil's aunt, uncle, and cousins, too. Not to mention our friends in Arlington from before I got this job. And friends I've met through this job! And maybe even some of you reading who I haven't met yet, but who will be there, too?!

We are SOOOOooooo enjoying this time off, and I am LOVING having so much time with Nile every day. Lots of fun. It's been so great seeing her play with her grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and great-grandma!

The best part about this time off too is that Neil is still able to do his schooling (now that his winter break has ended), but he is home with us every day. I am SO blessed that he is doing an online degree and not working, and that his goal is having a job he can do from home. Our family is so portable right now, it has been so nice. A case could be made for homeschooling Nile when the time comes ... but I am 99.99% sure I won't!

Life is really good for us right now; I hope we can spread that to others and we are excited for what is in store for us in 2011. More blog updates and perhaps some catching up, too! Love to you and yours!
