Some of you may know of Neil's shelf-sleeping days. Anyway, if he can't sleep on a shelf anymore, he'll make sure our pets can.
I came home the other day and he'd created these little nests for the cat and the dog, complete with light-blocking shades. This bookshelf is opposite his desk, since the pets like to hang out with him while he does school online during the day.

he's such a good dad! :)
Oh, that's hilarious! And cute.
Do you own those shelves, or are they embassy provided? If they're yours, where did you get them?
It's ours, from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80156281. Neil threatened that he would only take it with us if the movers took it down and put it back together. Luckily they did, and quite handily. I think they've seen them before -- I was totally impressed that the movers here in Argentina put it together in like 15 min. with no instructions.
Thanks! I'm sure I've seen them at Ikea. Because Milan is unfurnished, we have to buy some new stuff. Of course, it's hard to do that without seeing what our apartment looks like, but such is life.
its been a while since I popped by here for a visit, and so glad i did. What a fun picture! (Better than the last one i saw . . . your hairy legs! LOL)
