I bet you could find a recipe for the rolls that's just as good (and less trans-fatty). The Oreo shakes might be harder (and more expensive) to replicate unless you ship yourself a load of Oreos.

also - it's kind of funny that when i saw this post in my google reader i just saw the subject and i thought, "oh she probably means her relatives" and then later the post came up with the pictures! hahaha
Good idea! I never thought of trying a knock-off recipe!! They sell Oreos in Buenos Aires, (even dulce de leche-filled ones (gross)). But they don't have firm enough ice cream with which to make milkshakes :/ So i am getting my fill here! Yes, sad that I mention missing foods before family :D
