Dakar Rally!!!!

The Dakar Rally took off from Buenos Aires yesterday, New Year's Day, headed on a route through Argentina, crossing over into Chile and back again. For the three days leading up to it, they staged the vehicles -- trucks, motorbikes, etc. -- at the expo center right next to the Embassy. So we went over there a couple evenings after work to check it out.

I don't know why, but the idea of this off-road endurance adventure gets me so pumped! It sounds so exciting. I wish I could go along for the ride!!

Side note -- the moon and sky were amazing!
