Till the Cows Come Home

I headed home on my lunch break yesterday and as I neared my house, I saw a classic scene: cows grazing behind my house, between the main road and the backyard wall.

Our place is the white house at the very far right of the pic. The dirt area is a highly traversed footpath beside the road.

Grazing along behind our neighbor's house.

There are herds of free-roaming cattle like this in the city, mostly around our residential area. Maybe it's just one very transient herd; I have spotted them in different places on different occasions, I don't know if they ever go home or where they come from.

There are also lots of herds of goats running around. I'll get a pic of them sometime. Maybe by the mall.
