Mugg n Bean

I would not say that Gaborone will ever be known for its cuisine, but there are a few acceptable places to eat, Mugg 'n' Bean being one of them. As the name suggests, it's a coffee shop but they have an extensive menu as well.

Here is photo evidence of our trip there on March 9:

Neil's burger. Brie cheese, "macon" (beef bacon) and onion rings -- why not?

Nile and her lemon.

This has got to be the creepiest face I've ever made. I think this is my "surprised yet underwhelmed" face.

My cobb salad. It was OK. The most remarkable thing about it was the size, it really was huge.

About Nile's love affair with lemons -- she eats them wherever we go. It all started at a restaurant one night, she kept grabbing at the lemon in a glass of water. We finally decided to let her have it, expecting the sour baby face. But instead, she just gnawed away at it and it's been lemons for the girl when we go out ever since. Lemons in water, lemons as garnish -- none are safe.

That Cobb Salad looks yummy and holy cow on the burger! I know the hamburger part is in there somewhere :-)
